Meet the Author

This piece of non-fiction is based on experiences with my eldest daughter. Like all children, she does not understand how dependent she is on those around her: this is a beautiful thing. Yet it is human nature to attribute good fortune to our own hard work. I write this because the memory reminded me of how helpless I am, despite what I may tell myself.
