Unity Forever Held

We use our hands to fight. Not in violence, but in declaration.
Our hands hold the pens we use to write. Our hands turn to fists as a sign of support, resistance and power. Our hands hold signs and posters. Posters that share, encourage, and demand. Our hands bring us together, allow us to clap for one another and guide one another. Without thinking, we are constantly using our hands, whether wrinkled and sore, or young and still trying to figure the whole thing out. Our hands allow us to hold things in the air, a flag, a sign, a fist, demanding change, supporting our fellow humans, and encouraging others to do the same.

Everything we see has been touched by someone’s hand. So, why don’t we make a conscious effort to use our hands for the good of humanity. Write to politicians, dial a senator’s phone number, pass out flyers, create art, write your story, and shake hands with those different from you.

In trying times, women, minorities, and those in peril come together in support of one another. We fight for the generations past, present, and future. We won't stop fighting, and our fists won’t stop reaching toward the sky, until we win.
