Meet the Director & Choreographer

I am a double major in Dance and Politics and Human Rights. I have been dancing since I was two and have been politically active for the last 10 years. Growing up I always said I wanted to be the first woman President of the United States. I aspire to combine my two passions and this semester I was able to: "The Young are at the Gates" is based on the Political Protests of the 1960’s and 70’s. It is proof that history repeats itself and that everyone’s voice and actions matter. It is up to the young adults and individuals to shape our future. This piece is dedicated to all of the people who feel that they can’t speak up. I hope that viewers feel the positivity that comes from showing love instead of hate.
