Meet the Author

My piece, "Olivia is Cool Disorder" is a personal essay that details my struggles with severe obsessive compulsive disorder. I feel that this fits the theme of "Orbit" in the sense that this disorder dictates almost everything I do, and no matter what, it is always tethered to me. Olivia Burrett is a senior at Marymount Manhattan College, studying Creative Writing and Digital Journalism. Her work has been featured in Songbird Magazine, The Carson Review, and most recently Music Scene Media, in which she is a staff writer and editor.
