Eilis Regan is an English teacher at the American Home in Vladimir, Russia. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature in 2021. Her love for storytelling and story-listening inspired her to make this podcast for a class assignment in 2018. The podcast focuses on the evolving treatment of Irish Americans, as well as highlights an un-American tendency to target various groups of people—groups of people who build up the country AND have stories to share. Eilis is currently enjoying reading Russian fairytales and fables; she plans to earn a Ph.D. in that area.
