ISSUE II: What is your “RE-”?
The latin prefix “RE” means “back” or “again.” After all we have been through this year, what RE- are you looking for? Recovery? Reconciliation? Renaissance? Revitalization? Renewal? Reform? Redemption? Revenge? We all deserve a second chance, a clean slate, and a place to tell our stories of what we hope our future will look like. What is your story?
We publish work in four categories: Non-fiction, Performance, Multimedia and Translation. Please see further details in each category of submission. We’re looking to publish inventive, hopeful, reflective works and are open to working with all of you to create community.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Each area of submissions - Non-fiction, Performance, Multimedia and Translation - is detailed below. Submissions that do not follow guidelines will not be considered for publication. TwoTwoOne.NYC does not accept simultaneous submissions or work that has been published elsewhere.
Submissions are currently open on a rolling basis with a first reading on 3/26/2021. Issue II launches May 14.
