Social Justice Academy
"This year's SJA focused on housing justice, fostering conversations surrounding home, community, and sanctuary, as we are undergoing reforms that limit language on DEI policies. From Indigenous struggles to Chinatown’s gentrification, hands have the ability to preserve homes as shelters and sacred places. When prisons lockdown or landlords displace, communities join hands to fight. "What Does Home Mean To You?" talks about how our bodily autonomy has the ability to uplift safe spaces for marginalized communities/students who are struggling to define what home means in our nation." -Via Alyson Cabreza
